NEWS UPDATE

To celebrate Justin's 10th Anniversary at 23 Sun Street we are showcasing a selection or truly unique work from local designers in our 'Made in Kent' event. First up in our amazing selection of Jewellers is Polly Gasston.

Polly works in 22ct gold and uses ancient techniques to produce her stunning finished pieces. Her work will be on show in our Sun Street gallery over the next coming weeks so feel free to come in and have a look!

Made-in-Kent---Poly-Gasston

“We’re delighted to have Polly Gasston’s work on display to inaugurate Made in Kent, our series of selling exhibitions that showcase local craft skills.

We wanted to setup this series because we recognise how much important work goes on in the county, and what diversity there is of style and technique in that work that we should be celebrating.

We wanted to do it this year because it is my 10th year here in Canterbury designing and making jewellery, silverware and watches, so our aim is to celebrate by showing off the skills of 10 Kentish designers.

So we start our first event with Polly, a long-established presence in jewellery design in the county. Her work, as many of you will know, connects art and heritage, as it is heavily influenced by the jewellery of ancient Rome.”
