The Sun Street gallery opened in 2004 to highlight the work of designer craftsman, Justin Richardson and other guest designers.
Justin and his team create beautiful items of stock which they display in the gallery as well as being renowned for their bespoke commission service.
Each member of the team at Justin Richardson’s brings their own unique brand of technical skill, enthusiasm, passion and knowledge to make the commissioning of a bespoke piece of jewellery a truly pleasurable experience.
Having an onsite workshop enables Justin to offer a range of specialist services:

We can also offer the following services:
• Engraving – we are able to call upon the expertise of our regular specialist hand engraver wherever required.
• Valuations – these are carried out by the Guild of Valuers
Since he was a student, Justin has been winning Craftsmanship and Design awards at one of the oldest and most prestigious livery companies in the City of London – The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. Justin Richardson studied silversmithing at Kent Institute of Art and Design, and has worked with several highly acclaimed silversmiths and jewellers. He became a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in 2001 and has won many prizes for his work.
Andy joined the team having gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in silversmithing and Jewellery at UCA Rochester. Andy worked for a time in a silversmithing workshop in London and is now concentrating on his passion for jewellery. At The Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award Ceremony in March 2014 Andy was awarded with a prestitgious Silver Award in the Senior Chasers category for his hand crafted hammered silver bangle.
Adam joined the team in 2012 while studying at UCA Rochester and completed his final year graduating with a 1st Class Honours Degree in 2013. Adam specialises in 3D CAD technology, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge regarding modern techniques. At The Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award Ceremony in March 2014 he was presented with an impressive Gold Award for the Design of Fashion Jewellery with a commercial viability.
Helen is the newest recruit and joined the team in 2015 as an apprentice Designer Jeweller. Having completed a Foundation year with Distinction at The Goldsmiths Centre she was selected to join The Worshipful Company ' Apprenticeship Scheme.
Sabine came to London in 1984 to continue her studies at the Sir John Class of Art after completing her apprenticeship in Germany. Sabine has worked with Justin for many years and provides the stringing service as well as producing her own range of jewellery.
